The Aquanello Eterna cold-water fountain faucet in matte black (ET4001-10) is a compact and stylish faucet for a restroom fountain or small sink. The faucet combines the minimalist design of the Eterna series with a deep matte black finish and is specifically designed for situations where only cold water is needed.
The visible metal parts are made of high-quality stainless steel and feature a special multi-layer surface treatment. The stainless steel first receives a strong chrome-plated undercoat, after which a matte black coating is applied. This combination ensures an exceptionally strong, durable, and highly scratch-resistant matte black finish.
Cold-water faucet for restrooms and sinks
The Aquanello Eterna ET4001-10 is a true cold-water faucet. The faucet is connected to a single cold-water line and therefore does not mix hot and cold water.
The sleek control at the top allows you to easily turn the water on, off, and adjust the flow.
This makes the faucet particularly suitable for, among other things:
- Toilet sinks
- Guest bathrooms
- Small sinks
- Restroom facilities with cold-water connections only
Compact height of approximately 179 mm
The ET4001-10 has a total height of approximately 179 mm. This keeps the faucet compact and makes it particularly suitable for smaller fountains and sinks.
The spout is positioned approximately 88 mm above the mounting surface, leaving ample space for comfortable use.
Fixed spout of approximately 118 mm
The sink faucet has a fixed spout with a length of approximately 118 mm. This directs the water stream toward the center of the sink or washbasin.
The tip of the spout is angled downward at approximately 27°, ensuring that the water flows in a controlled manner toward the basin.
Fixed, non-swivel spout
The spout of the ET4001-10 does not swivel. This keeps the faucet construction compact and stable and ensures the design retains its sleek, minimalist look.
During installation, the faucet is therefore positioned directly in the correct orientation relative to the sink or washbasin.
Stainless steel with a strong chrome-plated undercoat
The matte black version stands out due to the special composition of its surface finish. The stainless steel base material is first coated with a strong chrome undercoat.
This chrome undercoat forms a hard, smooth, and durable base for the black finish. This allows the matte black coating to bond strongly to the surface, creating a robust, multi-layered finish.
Exceptionally Strong Matte Black Coating
A high-quality matte black coating is applied over the chrome-plated undercoat.
The combination of stainless steel, the strong chrome undercoat, and the black topcoat results in an exceptionally strong, wear-resistant, and highly scratch-resistant surface finish.
This makes the faucet ideal for daily use in a restroom or bathroom setting.
The finish has been intentionally kept matte, giving it a deep black appearance without excessive glare.
Advantages of the multi-layer finish
- Stainless steel base material: strong and durable foundation
- Chrome-plated undercoat: a hard and even base for the black coating
- Very high scratch resistance: suitable for intensive daily use
- Very high wear resistance: robust surface structure
- Strong adhesion: the matte black coating adheres firmly to the prepared undercoat
- Matte finish: deep black color without strong glare
To maintain the matte black finish, we recommend cleaning the faucet with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh, highly acidic, or alkaline cleaning agents.
1-hole sink or countertop mounting
The ET4001-10 is designed for single-hole installation on a pedestal sink, countertop sink, or compatible countertop.
The mounting diameter is approximately Ø35 mm. This allows the faucet to be installed in a pre-drilled faucet hole.
After installation, the round faucet base ensures a clean transition between the faucet and the mounting surface.
Compact single-lever control
The cold-water faucet is operated by a slim, cylindrical lever on the top. This allows the water flow to be easily turned on, turned off, and adjusted.
According to the technical specifications, the control lever is approximately 35 mm long and has a diameter of approximately Ø8 mm. This ensures that the control remains subtly integrated into the design.
No waste system
The ET4001-10 does not feature an integrated control for the sink drain. A matching sink stopper can therefore be selected separately.
For a fully coordinated matte black Eterna sink setup, the faucet can, for example, be combined with the Aquanello Eterna ET1600-10 lockable pop-up sink stopper.
Minimalist Eterna design
The Aquanello Eterna series is characterized by sleek cylindrical shapes, rounded lines, and minimalist details. The ET4001-10 follows this design style with a compact faucet body, curved spout, and slender controls.
The matte black finish gives the faucet a bold architectural character and pairs exceptionally well with materials such as:
- Travertine
- Marble
- Natural stone
- Concrete-look
- Wood and wood-look
- Light Ceramic
